I was nominated for The Very Inspiring Blogger Award? Wow, how cool was that?
I am flabbergasted. This is what it must feel like for Oscar nominees. I didn’t know how it happened, except that I got it. It’s kind of like the early stages of the flu. My eyes were filled with tears.
I would like to thank all of you for your support, the WordPress Academy, Mom, Dad, friends and family. A special shout out to <3 Mr. Husband <3. And of course, this nomination would not have been possible if it were not for the kind and generous nomination from The Coach Steph, the mastermind author of the fitness, motivation, recipes and nutrition blog universe. Thank you so much, Coach Steph https://thecoachsteph.wordpress.com/.
So, here are the nominating rules:
1. Thank the person who nominated you and add their link to your blog.
2. List the award rules so your nominees will know what to do.
3. State 7 things about yourself.
4. Nominate other bloggers.
5. Contact your nominees and provide a link to your post.
6. Display the award logo (button) on your blog, whether on your sidebar or about page, or special award page.
Let’s see, 7 things about myself:
What’s not to like? Added to this dessert category are cupcakes, apple desserts and mille feuilles. I will slow my walking pace down just to crazily stare into a bakery, my heart beating faster just gazing at the intricate ornamental designs of icing and fondant atop a delicate vanilla sponge mass of cake. It’s a beautiful thing. As for the foodie thing, I was literally born into it: my awesome Mom & Pop family grocery: www.AlimentsRamdas.com. This is where the 28+ years of small business management for several branches, product development, writing, strategic direction and all that jazz came in.
That’s me in 2014 after I tied the knot. I am amused by people’s perceptions: the funny thing about looking younger (at times) is that some people talk down to me thinking that this young female cannot understand what they are talking about. And once they learn that I am in my 40s (same age or older than them), then they act like I am too old with no future ahead of me. AHAHAHAHAHHA! Joke’s on them. Yeah, I also act younger than I look.
I love the look of jewelry without having to wear it or buy it. I love it so much that I saw the investment potential in precious metals and became a consultant to sell world designer pieces from the FERI fashion house. And yes, you will catch me looking at sparkling water fountains, jewelry stores and chandeliers, too. This is the video that sold me on the company:
I believe in learning about business, spiritual and personal development from credible sources, such as the Millionaire Mind Experience by New Peaks (Peak Potentials). I am an ambassador by choice and I am happy to give out free tickets to anyone through my link here anywhere in North America.
I like paintball or participating in sports. But I do not like watching sports. Blah!
I love The Walking Dead TV Series. (All graphics for The Walking Dead is copyright by AMC, Rick Grimes, Bicycle Zombie and The Governor.) I don’t watch TV, so I get my episodes from iTunes and watch them during daylight on my iPhone because a smaller screen is less scary and stuff. And did I mention the daylight thing. Yeah. Whatever. And no, I am not secretly fantasizing and wanting a zombie apocalypse. Why? There’s no cake in an apocalypse and I love life and living people.
That means the wheels are always rollin’ rollin’ rollin’. Like in a Limp Bizkit kinda way. There are no dull moments. A blank paper, the back of a receipt, a paper napkin or a blog post is a canvas to create a universe of stories, write copy, comedy routines, skits, screenplays, business plans, etc. I thrive for creativity.
Please check out these talented people and support their great work:
